Picked up this 1858 Inverted Date half dime yesterday from an old collection. My friend Barndog helped nail down what she's known for (the date was punched entirely upside-down, then scrubbed and re-punched).
But there's a die break or crack developing on the reverse "E" in "STATES" that looks like a horn: The Horn-E variety
