Cost of Pouge Collection

I have seen the actual results of the first two Pogue sales as well as estimates for the total current value. Has anyone ever published the cost to Pogue to assemble this collection? Thanks

    I am old enough to remember an old Coin World photo of a young kid (Pogue) holding a couple major dollar coins that he had convinced his dad to buy. I remember thinking to myself "boy, I hope he knows what he's doing.....". Guess I should stop worrying now.
