Can Medals(So-Called dollars) be submitted with U.S. Coins on the same order?
Anybody ever submitted Medals and U.S. coins in the same order before?( The same order form at Economy level for example) I can't find anything telling you in is not allowed. All I can find is a note that Medals should be submitted under the appropriate value level. Any insight is appreciated!

Edited to update 1/11: Only some of the categories of tokens and medals listed as qualifying for grading by PCGS require variety attribution service, not all.
If you are uncertain about the status of your item(s), call Customer Service and ask.

Yes, as long as they are medals of the approved references on this page. Unfortunately, you are required to check the variety attribution service box for each line item and pay the $18 per item fee.
Are you serious? $18 variety attribution per item fee, even when you already know what you are submitting and provide the reference and number?

I have one 'in process' now. It is economy level with 4 truview requests and 1 HK- SCD. I did not check variety option for this socalled dollar. I am sure if that is wrong, they will correct me in the final charge.
I am not sure, but it also looks like I can now combine foreign and US on the same submission - I might try some Canada with my next 'modern' submission.
Uh, no. World coins, medals and tokens always must be submitted on a separate form.

I have sent in several for grading along with other coins on the same order, and have never been charged a variety attribution fee. The variety attribution fee should not be necessary. They are not varieties.
Apparently it makes a difference what the material is. I recently submitted 2 - R9 Civil War tokens that required the extra fee to have the Fuld die pair numbers on the insert, as instructed by PCGS Customer Service.
Since there are also different varieties (by composition primarily) of So-Called Dollars, that may come in to play as well if one desires to have the specific HK number included on the insert.
As noted in the update of my previous post, if you are uncertain of the status of a token or medal grading submission, regarding attribution on the holder insert, call Customer Service and ask.
