Paying for an eBay purchase. Using eBay Bucks AND eBay gift card.

I just went to pay for a card that I won on Ebay. I have a few eBay bucks ($10.00) and a gift card that I want to use.

I checked off the ebay bucks and then put in my Gift Card number. It looks like eBay will not use the eBay bucks first. They are taking the entire purchase from the gift card.

Doesn't make sense to me. Is this how they work? Never tried this before.

So bottom line, it looks like I have to use the Gift Card and NO ebay Bucks or else use the eBay bucks and then I have to pay the balance with my PayPal Account.

Can anyone help?

I had the same thing happen, then decided to bag the eBay bucks and just use the gift card.



Checked out, thinking I was paying the difference with my PP. Then, later noticed that the eBay Bucks DID apply, even though the system was giving a prompt that both would not be accepted. May be a glitch?

Casey ... thanks for the response. I went ahead and entered both the Bucks and gift card. Looks like it took it from the gift card. Oh well, not a biggie. Just wondered why it didn't allow both.
