Life Part II starts now for me.

Hello everyone. I just became a father on New Year's Eve!! My wife and newborn daughter are both doing great.
Before I had it signed and footprinted at the delivery room in the hospital, this common $1 1923 silver certificate was worth maybe $20. Now it is worth even less with all the graffiti, but it is now PRICELESS to me.
I had the doctor, the midwives, and nurses all sign it (mostly on the front) and had our immediate family sign it when they all came to visit us at the hospital.

Congratulations; great move! The 2015 tax deduction should more than cover the $20 note.

That is very cool, especially the foot prints. Now it just needs to be framed with a copy of her birth certificate and a picture of the proud parents holding the new baby. That will be something she will cherish forever.
