Access to all TrueViews By Coin Type

jerseycat101jerseycat101 Posts: 1,360 ✭✭✭✭✭
I was just made aware, yesterday, by keyman64, that you can see the last thousand or do TrueViews.

While this is an interesting utility, I thought it would be very nice to be able to see all TrueViews by coin type. Currently, in Coinfacts, you can see a pcgs selected selection of plate images, for lack of a better name.

Would love to see a link of all TrueViews as well in coinfacts.

Since I don't subscribe, I can only go through the tour which has about 4 coin pictures posted image

Thanks much. Never knew this. Wish those had certification numbers or a way to browse all coins by denomination...that'd be killer.

Mouse over the image, look at the file name and you will see the certification

number in the file name. That's how I put this thread together.

Agreed. If I could pull up every TrueView ever taken for a "1922 p" peace dollar in 64, for example, I would never cancel my coinfacts subscription.

I think most coins that have been TV'd also have a CoinFacts image. Most 64's should be on the CoinFacts page.

    i disagree with this.

imo, cf pages have like 1/10,000 of tv images. not that i'm complaining.

that would be a sh%# ton of images.

if the 22p cf page were to have "most" of the v images, it would have to be 500-1500 or something crazy like that.

that's all i wanted to say. image

Well you can see all images for a PCGS number, like: http://www.pcgscoinfacts.com/CoinImages.aspx?s=3795

But does that mean it's all the images they TrueViewed?

    No.

Like looking through that link of recent true views, many are not included there...only selected coins.

on the 1922 p peace page, just below 1922 $1 (Regular Strike)
hit -> View All Coin Images

this has all pictures taken for date, by grade
    this dollar has 4 pictures

    image

  • keyman64keyman64 Posts: 15,521 ✭✭✭✭✭
That is ALL TrueView images for that grade that have been APPROVED for CoinFacts, not all TrueViews that have been taken for that date/grade etc.

I understand that many of my cameo TVs are in Coin Facts - I don't subscribe so I don't know for sure.

However, you can see many of my cameos in the album I put together - link is in my sig line below.
