Looking to choose wisely

Well, I received a $300 unexpected cash gift today. What would you buy? Wax boxes or graded HOFers? I look forward to the advice.

  • Graded Hall Of Famers. You might have to put a few dollars extra but 89 Upperdeck Griffey is guaranteed to see more of a jump in the next couple of months or you can go with a Rickey Henderson rookie in a 9. Both are pretty much must own cards in the hobby.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Graded HOFers, I would look for mid-grade 1950s.

Why? Is he having a good off season?
  • Graded HoFers. I'd shoot for the '55 Killebrew or '59 Gibson in highest quality available at your price point but nobody's ever considered me wise! Have fun!
