89 Hoops needs and observations

I am looking for some empty boxes of 89 hoops first of all if anyone has any. Second I opened a couple of series 1 boxes and got 1 Robinson.... Probably 10 Manute Boll!

Could be your boxes were looked thru? That's a pretty tough random distribution and these packs are pretty easy to see the top and bottom cards.

If you do happen to get any series 1 Robinson pack showing though let me know I'd still like to add to my collection of them.

FWIW, I opened one FASC series 1 box last week. Pulled 1 Robinson, 2 Jordan, and 2 Jordan all-stars.



1 Robinson in two boxes does not sound like good collation.

You might be right... I bought them pretty reasonably though. I have a pack with Robinson on top already. What's your price for one of those?

$10 all day long. I think they are one of the most if not the most reasonable star showing top packs around.

The 89 Hoops set was easy to determine the sequence in packs. Two boxes with only one Robinson is pretty unfortunate if it was not tampered with.

Yes, '89 Hoops was pretty easy to discoving card patterns, but I once broke open a case and spilt it with a buddy.

My half (1o boxes) were loaded with Robinson's, about 2.5 per box. His half was a dud. Maybe one Robinson per box.

Hoops collation really sucked.



I'd only buy this product from a sealed case myself.

I've opened quite a few of these Series 1 boxes and usually only ever got 1 Robinson per box.

I bought one box about a year ago and to my amazement pulled 5. Unfortunately, none would have graded a 10.
