    100% Legit.
I used to own it 10+ years ago and It originally came from Al Rosen.

Why does the auction description say it was "recently discovered" then? Just another time of the auctioneers trying to drum up a better story?

    Id guess so.
When I got it in about 2003 it was still sealed in an al rosen case with his sticker.
I think he found a case in the 80 or 90s not sure exactly when but I did hear of him finding a partial case.

Calling out Dragnet for another rip...

Funny, after learning of my rip, James Feagin from H&S actually sent me an email congratulating and notifying me that this would be available in their next auction. Will likely fall well out of my price range I'm afraid. Would love to see a rip should anyone here end up the winner of course!

I have no PK of this rack--but Rosen did have a find of 1960 FB and BB cello and rack cases in 1995. IIRC he got it from the kids of a Baltimore grocer who had the stuff in his basement after the parents closed the store in 1960. It all went pretty quick. He had 2 racks with Yaz on top

I bought my '60 rack with Yaz on top from that find. I subbed mine to GAI to slab

I am just seeing that Yaz rack now. WOW! I'm floored. What would something like this command at auction? So frustrated that I left the hobby for two decades and missed out on so much incredible unopened.
Conundrum - Loving my unopened baseball card collection....but really like ripping too

Does your rack have staples in the header?

it is a great piece. The other Yaz rack from that find was sold at auction maybe 2 years ago--commanded $6K w-the premium I believe

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
