1968 O-Pee-Chee Baseball is known for having a dozen or so mini-size cards within the set. Pictured here is card #88 Phil Regan which is about 1/16 of an inch smaller in size top/bottom. After talking with a PSA registry member the other day about the 1975 OPC Baseball set, it was brought to my attention that some cards were hard to find worth grading. So I went and dug through some 800 count boxes and looked for the cards. Come to find out, they all had light blue and green colors. After inspecting them, I noticed 1 of the cards just didn't look right. It was short. It had the typical OPC rough cut all around and was not trimmed. So I found another card of the same player and sure enough it was the same size.
Come to find out, most but not all cards that have the light blue and green color, are shorties. Some of the short cards are Don Sutton,Bill Plummer, Bruce Miller, Willie Horton,Bob Forsch, Lee May and more... This will be a pain for those working on PSA registry sets. It looks like some got by the graders but i'm sure a lot also got turned back as mini size.
Just some info here to help if anyone is working on this set.

Does PSA grade the 68s as "short"?
They grade them as "A" or return as mini-size. Some have been known to slip through though. You can tell which cards are the shorties just by looking at the pop report. Most have so few examples graded other than maybe the Stargell. Several of the Stargell's got through a long time ago.
They are not labeled "short" if that's what your asking?

Yes, that's what I was asking. Thanks.
