    Looks like an 8.5 to me. I'm just surprised that PSA would bump a card that was recently graded (as evidenced by the hologram). Either way, a nice score. Congrats!

    Major congratulations. Awesome card btw. He first Mantle I ever owned was a 64.

    Thx again, it was express, dropped off at show in Rosemont a few weeks back...today was the 9th day..it was painful waiting but worth it in the end.

    KC, Matt...we always talk about how not all grades are created equally, and most of my cards I over pay for the grade because of centering and overall eye appeal, so it's nice to go from population of something like 500 8s, to something much scarcer like only 50 better than an 8. Celebration at my house tonight.

    Here are a couple I am thinking of trying again on. The 1962 upper right corner edges might nix that one, but the 1966 might have a shot. What do you all think about the possibility of an 8.5 for either of the cards below?

    WOW. belz..congrats....great eye (and persistence). Thats a sweet looking '64 which is def not a straight 8. I think one just sold last night which wasn't as nice as yours.

    ...thats an early Xmas present.....and one that will allow you to put your funds into upgrading a different Mantle with all the money you saved (or just made) image Rationalizing can be fun.
    Interested in higher grade vintage cards. Aren't we all. image

    Thx SB, just trying to be in the same room with you someday...great 62 there...Centering and no line at the bottom, love it...that upper right corner will keep you away from a higher grade though (jmo)...but an amazing card!!!

    The 1962 looks like it has chipping on the right edge and just above the top right corner. If so I can't see how that advances. The bottom two corners both looked touched on the 66 and if so once again advancing seems unlikely.



    Obviously great cards but not every card is under graded.

    Congrats OP. That is my favorite Mantle of yours looks like a solid 8.5.



    On the 62, its beautiful but I don't believe it will bump. Most 8.5's have to look closer to a 9. I ould be surprised if it did but like DPeck said, great card regardless.

    Watch out for the ridiculous MIN SIZE RQ if you crack them out.
