It's nice to be back on the forums again !!!

I have had an eight day break from the forums.

My old computer decided to blow it's lunch two Sundays ago.

The bill got up to over $100 to repair it, and climbing. I canned it and bought an upgrade for $125 (an almost new computer to boot) !!

Anyway, lots of catching up to do.

luckybucks,I feel your pain. Mine gave up the ghost a few months ago and I'm still trying to recapture everything, but at least I'm online. Wishing you good luck with yours; and

I lost a lot of my spreadsheets, and will have to re-do them.

At least I will have something to do with my spare time for awhile. :c)

I know that feeling... but it only took me once to learn my lesson. Computer hard drives do have an end of life. Most people don't realize that they don't last forever and will fail someday. I now have a 4 terrabyte external drive that I back everything up on every week or so. I also got things kind of organized.... one directory on my laptop has all my work docs in it and one directory on my home computer has all my personal docs and files in it. This way I just copy each directory to the external drive every so often. No need to hunt down specific files or figure out what changed. And these external drives are cheap - when I bought mine, the Western Digital 4tb external was about $130. I do have a 2nd external drive but alot smaller that I keep a 2nd backup of all my work files on, just in case.
