Thinning out a portion of my collection, let’s start with these. All prices include shipping & paypal. Offers are welcome.
1874P T$ PCGS AU53 CAC $SOLD
A nice original coin in nice collector grade. It’s toned with a little crust, but has enough luster in the protected areas to make AU53 (and CAC agrees). It has that nice balance of originality without being too dark. This is an iPhone picture, so not great, but the darker area around the periphery is actually golden luster.
Keep in mind that pops are similar to 1875P and price guides are way off on this one. Try to find another original AU that sold in the past 5 years.

1876-S Type I/II Large S T$ PCGS XF40 $300
Nice example of a scarce variety. Fairly late die state with some reverse die cracks and a shallow mint mark.
![image](http://scratch-space.com/forumpics/76sweb.jpg)
1876-CC T$ PCGS AU53 $1425
Toned with expected detail for the grade. I wouldn’t say it’s high end, just a crusty toned example which many here enjoy.
![image](http://scratch-space.com/forumpics/76ccweb.jpg)
ADDED A FEW MORE...
1873-CC PCGS AU55 (MPD with 87 in the denticles) $3300
Posting slab pics, there’s also a Trueview but it makes the coin look a bit darker than it really is. In hand, it has some color and flash when tilted, but is more brown looking straight on.

1874-CC PCGS F15 Extra-wide spaced cc (1.2mm) $525
Rare variety, these are really tough to find. This reverse die is also known on the 73-CC and 76-CC, making it possible to collect all 3. This of course would be very challenging.

1875-S PCGS AU58 CAC approved (Type 1/2 on holder, eligible for variety registry set) $625
This date/MM is one of the most common for the trade dollar series, however maybe only 20% of them are hub type 1/2 like this one. A nice honest AU58 with a little toning but not much. Almost thought this one would go MS61, but the obverse isn’t quite there. It’s worth noting there’s a carbon spot in the central reverse.

1876-P PCGS AU58 CAC approved (Type 1/1 on holder, eligible for variety registry set) $650
Toned Type 1/1 76p. Less common than the type 1/2, but not extremely scarce. Features the cool “broken letters” reverse die.

1876-P PCGS AU55 Semi-PL $550
I really like this handsome coin but you can't keep them all. Fun semi-PL surfaces which are uncommon in the TD series. I bet the mirrors were pretty awesome on this one before it circulated.

1877-P PCGS AU58 CAC approved $SOLD
A strong strike for 77p, most have very flat stars. Nice and original with some colorful toning, not as dark as the Trueview makes it look. Really high end for a 58, I can’t find any marks in the fields. A concentric die crack circles almost the entire reverse.

1877-S Doubled Die Reverse FS-802 PCGS AU53 $450
Chocolate brown example of this scarce doubled die. It's increasingly harder to find coins like this that haven't been dipped white.

1878-S Doubled Die Reverse PCGS XF45 CAC approved $375
Colored pastel toning on this prominently doubled die reverse. Pretty good for the grade.

I'm open to offers on these.
And since a few people have asked I'm definitely not getting out of the series. Just thinning the herd.
All definitely original and naturally toned examples plucked out by a great eye, If I didn't already have these examples I would be adding them to my collection.
But why have just one, when you could have two? Or three?
Actually that's why I'm selling these.
See http://www.doubledimes.com for a free online reference for US twenty-cent pieces
FYI everyone, I've dropped the prices on everything. The 77-P trade dollar is sold.
