Greetings fellow collectors, I'm stopping by for my yearly update on my Nascar Ticket Collection. I've whittled my want list down some more this year by adding various stubs to my ever growing collection. I also added a lot more memorabilia such as pit passes and garage passes as well.

I'm now up to 1,464 different tickets from 1949-2015. I have everything from the 1990's. I do need 90 from the 1970's and a bunch prior. Also need a bunch from 2010-present. I'm now focusing on the ones below. I just need 13 to complete the 1980's and 17 to complete the years from 2000-2009. If you guys know anyone that attended races during the 80's or even recently, I would greatly appreciate any help in obtaining any of these.

sounds awesome, and now you have my attention...ive driven one drivers championship car at talledega....crazy speeds...thye just let me drive and didnt even ask if i knew how to drive stick...just a little something on what lines to take...absolutely awesome.



,,,,,so how many races per year are you collecting, just majors (and how many)? or is it major raceways run per year? sorry if i sound dumb but i don't know much about nascar but will watch it at times....how many tickets per year, say, in the 70s are you looking for and whats your criteria? either way sounds awesome

Thats awesome. Ive did the ridealong at charlotte but never driven. I bet Talladega was a blast to actually put the pedal to the metal and drive.
Short answer to your collection, I collect them all. My database that I created, lists every race that nascar has run from their first year in 1949 to this year, 2015. I collect some of the busch series and truck series races, but mainly all the main Nascar races. oh its crazy...i kept the pedal down entirely for the last 3 laps..didnt let up at all...as you know, talledega is the longest (i guess)..so long straight aways going over 180-190 mph into a 3 or 4 story wall (curve)...just towering...so you just trust that the cars gonna whip around it...so you just slam into the curve ....then your at the top edge about 3-4 inches from it, the wall flying by.....my buddy did the ride along and loved it.



i def recommend it...i drove the ups car that just won a championship....a lot give it as a gift and they make it family friendly, they make signs etc and stay in the pits...i didnt realize you get into the infield by driving under the track...makes sense...then coming out of the tunnel the track just opens up....huge..



anyways, ill check out ur website tho i know i don't have any tickets...ill ask around at work....nascar fans are just crazy (in a good way) and loyal to their drivers

good to see another nascar fan. I stopped collecting nascar back when E Sr died, I have/had everything of Sr (diecast and programs signed, pic, photos, etc) also got many EJr and some Gordon.

Back to your topic--- I actually do have 1 Charlotte october 11, 1981 ticket stub that shows E.Sr pic and his car on it via Ebay. I lowered the price on it for the holidays.

Nowadays, i just do baseball cards, but still watch nascar on tv.
