Watch out for root dweevils

link

I hate it when that happens.

So, if any of you have pulled a 1955 Topps Clemente recently (ha ha...not bloody likely!), be sure to send it to PSA before a root dweevil gets a hold of it. They cannot chew through PSA cases.

  • Hmmm. There must have been a whole slew of those suckers munching on '89 Fleer Billy Ripken cards.

Are there known reprints of these 1955 cards? Something doesn't seem legit about this. Take a reprint and damage it in this way and make an easy $100.
  • It looks like the dweevil ran the play as called, and the blockers carried out their assignments, so the 1/32nd" straight plunge got em almost an inch and a half. those dweevils sure do have a nose for a clean vertical line. The best way to maximize selling that crisp clean dweevil cut would be to have a small stack of cards that all got eaten the same way. Anything else, and I might have to invoke "shenanigans" !
