Its currently graded MS67+. Its a pop 5/0. Worth around $600. The bands look full to me. They are kinda lost in the shadows of the PCGS picture. If it would go full bands, this coin jumps to a $3000+ coin. Do you think its worth the effort and money for another try?

If it looks FB to you and there is a market at that level then it could certainly make economic sense to send it in as such.

As the possessor of the coin, you have the best opportunity to determine its condition. Sure, send it in... 5X value increase...it would be worth it to me.

I have owned a lot of Roosie's and I don't think it will make FB. It is So close but there is a section that is not completely full. If you got the right person it might but I would say it won't. The other thing is to Suit yourself and that's all that matters at the end of the day. I hope you make it. It is a beauty.

The bottom band doesn't look full based on the image. If the price spread is 5x different then I would say why not.

Agree 100%. The bottom band is holding this from FB.

"Reconsideration" is a second look without cracking the holder. There's a premium for an upgrade. Use it when you don't want to lose the holder if it won't upgrade.

"Regrade" cracks the holder so graders have a perfect view. There is no premium for an upgrade. PCGS's guarantee protects against a downgrade. The coin comes back in PCGS's newest/best holder.

So no, you shouldn't send it in for reconsideration unless you value its current slab.

If you happen to subscribe to confacts-> go to silver dimes then 1956 full bands. View all coin images for the 1956 full band, and compare cert numbers of a prominent similar coin. Then look at sale history of the one MS68 that sold - some people seem to be willing to try a few times.

I agree that the bottom band looks weak on the right side, but what the hey. Give it a try.

I think the jump would behoove another try or two if you think its a close call. We can't tell from the pic.

I do not think it is full bands.
