Not exactly a perfect match, but they sure look super together!!!

I wanted to share a cool pair of notes I was fortunate to match up. They look so great together!!!

The first note I picked up at ANA in Chicago and the second was from Heritage.

Almost a perfect match except the serial, but all else matches.

    Regular and star. Cool.

Serial numbers are close. Regular lower numbers are not too common, sure they could be found with some work. Only thing bigger would be if the serials had matched! Now THAT would have been amazing. image

I cropped the sellers auction photo. (1929 Philippines P74b 2 peso replacement) Auction went for strong $142.50 unless there is some thing there I didn't see. Basically a lot of commons? Don't think that Confederate note is too valuable.

Nice pair of low serial number Philippine Victory series star and regular notes. They look good together with attractive serial numbers.

Logan, now THAT is an amazing pair of notes. Don't see matching serials on a regular note and a replacement note very often. image
