I just came across this on ebay. what caused this error and is it really $9k rare?

Well the note sold at Heritage for $3500...not sure if that is high or low.

$3500 into $9750? Maybe that's why the seller's name is tangible investments!

Nonetheless, it is a pretty cool error. And on a $50, to boot!
