1958 P & D Franklins for the toner Dansco

Here are two Franklins for the toner Dansco. The Dansco is meant to be a fun project, not an expensive project, so I'm not looking for top of the line examples for each date/mm. Still, I am looking for nice looking examples. 1958 is by far the easiest year to find pleasantly toned Franklins from. However, a P mint tends to have blue toning, it is much more difficult to get a P mint with pleasant gold toning. I got the P mint from fleaBay and the D mint I pulled out of a Mint Set (along with two Washingtons that had comparable toning). The images are by Bob Campbell and I think he did an excellent job.

Nice ones, shaping up nicely. On a different note, I watched Apollo 13 saturday night and was thinking about your recent log book purchase the whole time as they were referring to theirs and all the different acronyms and such. Made it very enjoyable to watch again.

Here are two Franklins for the toner Dansco (album).

I think there's a possibility that the album will continue on the road of toning for these coins. Perhaps undesirable dark toning. But maybe Dansco has improved their albums?

There. Now it's a unique named coin, so you can ask a gazillion dollars for it when you eventually sell it.
