Cleaning out the safe. You never know what may show up.

Trying to do a little tidying up. I usually dislike these threads and overlook them but

to keep from making a new thread constantly I will try it for awhile.

.

I honestly don't know what is going to show up here. Some of it will be nice (imo) and

some will be less nice. image

.

I will price what I can. Some of it is worth less than postage or I have no idea.

If it is listed without a price make me an offer.

Pics are quick and dirty for the most part. Some will be taken through 2x2's, cointains etc.

.

.

Prices include shipping and I'll take Paypal, cash, checks, money orders, maybe other.

Recently I also had the urge to check my bank boxes. I have 2 at the same branch. I know the content of the large box. But I hade not opened the small box for over 5 years.

Here is what I "knew and expected" to be in it:

    1 graded NFL $2 1880

    1 CAN $ 1000 devils face 1954 Banknote

    1 CAN $ 1000 modified portrait 1954 Banknote.

    nothing else...

The banklady who had "her" key and I know each other for over 15 years.

she did her thing and my key did my thing. she asked me if she should leave. I said it will only be seconds.

so the box came out and...I must have turned another shade or two.

there was only the coin and ONE $ 1K bill. But there also was a wad of $100 bills, 26 exactly....

then I remembered that I sold the DF bill for 2600 around 5 years ago.

so, banklay was happy, I was happy.

I asked her if she ever held a 1000 dollar bill in her hands.... NO... so was thrilled to get the chance.. her cell phone now holds a picture of her and the 1K note.

Canada has stopped making 1K notes , I believe 1982 was the last year.
Today is the first day of the rest of my life

1988 was when they were last printed. I saw one once in a casino ca. 1999, some show off was going around asking people to break it for them.

Cool story YQQ. I wish I could forget about that much cash. image

If any of this stuff is way out of line feel free to let me know.

Most of it is out of my usual area but I am trying to get close.
