Personally, as much as I love Rolen, I think its a good deal

I don't think its a good deal for Philly. Mets are slumping and they are dumping their excess baggage.
Nothing smoother than listening to Bob James and sipping on a glass of vintage Courvoisier! It's PIMPnificent!

Nash, I don't know if that's a good deal or not. Edgardo Alfonzo is not really having that great of a season but he's a great defensive player. Jay Payton has never really been consistent and Grant Roberts must be a rookie? But for a great player like Rolen? I don't know if that's such a good idea. I personally wouldn't make the deal, unless there was some other stats I am missing on why they would do this.

By the way Nash, Braves are looking at Sean Casey from the Reds to be our first basemen...image

maybe they arent so great at the moment, but fonzie has shown great power at times in the past as has payton, yes roberts is a rookie, but a darn good rookie...and besides...rolen is NOT coming back, so if we had to get something for him, anything at all, i think this is pretty good

Derrick...yeah, i heard that too...but whats shawn casey got that travis lee doesnt? I mean, besides a batting average and a couple home runs image

But you know what I`d like to see...the Indians are tightening the belt and are looking to part ways with Jim Thome...if he becomes a free agent and isnt traded, we could take Rolen`s $140 million there...its an increibly long shot, but It`d make me happy
