  • any guess as to the print run?
  • Runs #1, #2, and #3 of the New York star notes were not reported by the BEP, but notes from these runs have been observed, so I've added them to the table in approximately their correct locations. The lengths of all these runs are uncertain. Run #1 is at least 145,000 notes (but could be substantially more); run #2 is over 3.1 million notes, so is apparently a full run; run #3 is at least 430,000 notes (but likely far more, as a full strap from this run has been found). Reports of additional notes that would help to define the serial range of run #1 or #3 would be appreciated.

It's hard to say what these notes sell for because they haven't come up for sale very often.

My note was purchased from a friend at a different currency forum. He had three of these notes and I offered him $40 for one example. He messaged me back letting me know that he thought $40 was too much and he would feel more comfortable charging $25......who am I to argue.

Recently, on eBay, I saw a circulated example sell for $99.

    Only time will tell.
