Dan Marino Autographs - Anyone Good Identifying His Signature?

Do we have any Marino Autograph Experts around here? I picked up a large lot of Marino Autographs a while back and I finally got around to scanning them all. I know some of these are good. I know some of these aren't. If this was a lot of Andre Dawson Autographs, I could pick the bad ones from a mile away. I know that signatures can change over time. They can even vary depending on the setting the player's in at the moment. I was hoping to get the opinion of someone who knows Marino's signature like I know Dawson's signature. Any help is appreciated! Opinions welcomed!

To me the ones with the certificates look bad,as do several of the rest.There's a few that look right to me.If you're looking to get any authenticated,pick out the best 5 and go from there.There's a lot that are not tilted right,so be careful picking out the best ones.

Many look bad to me, but there's so many here. If you want specific opinions, try posting just a couple at a time and go from there.

I think they are pretty much all bad, or maybe more importantly, I don't think any of them would pass PSA/DNA authentication. I got a couple of Marino in person a long time ago and none of these look like IP autos, at least the ones I got.



Looking at PSA authenticated online, including some "sit-down" signatures, a couple of things stand out to me: The beginning of the signature is almost always a "loop tail, with the start of the signature never touching the rest. Also his "real" signature seems to travel on a pretty straight line, like you could hold a ruler under it and the bottoms would pretty much line up. Lastly, the end of his signature has a counter clockwise loop over the top, which sometimes but not always crosses the the line and closes the loop. Also the "3" in thirteen seems to mostly resemble a sideways "M" rather than a rounded traditional "3", to me this is where most of the examples you posted go wrong.



That being said, these might have a slight chance:
