Excellent show, with lots of activity both buying and selling at my table. Probably my best Baltimore show ever, in fact. From what I heard from various dealers, U.S. coins generally were hit and miss, but I can say the error coin market was healthy at this show for myself and in the Stacks/Bowers auction prices were up.
Looking forward to the winter Baltimore next year.
The 1942 patterns have gotten stronger and stronger. Perhaps it was my fault. But as I have faded back from my previous strong bids as I have completed by grading set, others seem to taking my place with even stronger bids.
A blank brown 1942 plastic with Bureau of National Standards etching on one side graded by PCGS sold at StacksBowers in Baltimore for $940. I expected a price of about $700. OK, I did throw in one bid.
