LAST POST TIME STAMP

SteveSteve Posts: 3,312 ✭✭✭
Does anyone know WHY the time stamp issue has not been fixed yet. I've attempted to reset to United States eastern in the profile and the error number keeps coming up. Am I doing something wrong? This 5 hour time difference is just annoying to me.

Thanks for your input. Steveimage

If I'm getting your issue correctly, your posting time stamp is off.

Go to your profile and scroll down till you see this (with your info of course)

Set your time zone and offset from UCT (aka GMT). You can see my settings for Hawaii. Right now I'm -5 hours from East coast time.

Change to your settings, save (at the bottom of the page) and see if all your times look correct now. You may have to make an adjustment again but this should work.

Could you be setting the adjustment wrong so it doesn't agree with your location?

    Test.........................

I might mention all of my issues seem to be worked out but I've not posted much recently.

Thanks for the info. Times are correct for me now. Seems kinda silly that we still have to manually adjust even if we put in a time zone.

I believe you should be -6 hours.

I believe this is the same as the old system which just used the time zone for DST adjustments.

I had to change the offset from -11 to -10 on Sunday 'cuz that DST doesn't work for me.

I've seen the same error message a couple of times previously; one when I was quoting a post and replying to it.

I'm on -6 GMT central time. I tried +/-2 and +/-6 with the same error.

edited to add that this post is 6 hours into the future from my actual time.

Thomas, (BAJJERFAN) That is the same error I get. My profile is stuck with Country= U.S. Minor Outlying Islands instead of United States. The Time Zone appears OK as GMT-05:00 eastern time. Any opinions on how I can fix it? ANYONE? Thanks, Steveimage

Thomas, I'm sure we aren't the only ones. This needs a fix by the tech people. Question is, I wonder how long it will take. Obviously, it isn't a major issue. Just annoying. Thanks for confirming. Steveimage

I fixed mine by inserting (-8) into the adjustment box. I'm on the West coast.
