Warriors v. Clippers tomorrow night

The NBA's 2015-2016 regular season began last week.

The Warriors and Clippers square off tomorrow night at Oracle Arena.

Both teams are 4-0 so far. These previously inept franchises have turned things around and have been very good for the past few years. Their rivalry is heating up and their games are intense.

The Warriors are defending champions, yet many view their title as one that fell into their lap due to injuries and luck (the Clippers beat the Spurs in Round 1 of the playoffs and the Clippers melted down against the Rockets in Round 2, thus allowing the Warriors to avoid having to play the Spurs and the Clippers, both of whom would have won a 7 game series against the Warriors; and the Pelicans, Grizzlies and Cavs all had star players out with injuries when the player the Warriors).

I have not followed the Clippers in their 4-0 start this year, but I have watched the Warriors. They have destroyed New Orleans twice, Houston and Memphis. None of these games have been close. Curry is playing like he is the best player in the game.

For those who like pro hoops, the Warriors will be fun to watch this year.

Interested in higher grade vintage cards. Aren't we all. image
  • Lived up to it. Especially for so early in the season. Two teams that do not like each other in the least.

Must post a follow up to my OP.

The Warriors are going for win #16 tonight. If the team wins the game its record will be 16-0, the best start to a season ever.

Watching the Warriors so far this year is interesting. They were amazing last year and had quite the Cinderella regular season, capping it off with an NBA title.

The 2015-2016 Warriors, actually seem to be better than the 2014-2015 team.

The depth of the roster, the talent level and the desire of the team and entire organization to win another title this year is amazing. If the team continues to play the way it has been playing and if it is able to avoid serious injury, it may do better than the 72-10 Chicago Bulls and it may being home another title.

As for both Warrior-Clipper games so far this season, the outcome of each game must have just crushed the Clippers, particularly the second game where the Warriors came back from 23 down in the first half and 10 down with less than 6 minutes to go to run away with the game.

For those who like pro basketball, the 2015-2016 Warriors are a treat.

College football is over. NFL playoffs in full swing. MLB spring training is a month away.

Pro hoops will be taking center stage in about a month as the 2015-2016 regular season is about half over and the All Star break is approaching.

Thus far the current NBA season has been all about the Warriors (currently 36-2 and playing better individually and collectively than last year's title team). Will be great to see the W's play the Spurs and Thunder in the coming weeks, along with next Monday's rematch with Cleveland in Cleveland. The Warriors are playing every entertaining team basketball. Even though injuries have been suffered by multiple players the roster is so deep and talented that there is little in the way of drop off when the starters are not on the floor.
