Over the years I've enjoyed sharing the odd stuff I pick up and I thought a thread where everyone shows items would be nice.
I'm gonna start with a couple of toy watches I picked up recently.
The first is a Mickey Mantle/Hank Aaron toy watch.
and the second is a Jackie Robinson/Warren Spahn toy watch.
They're from the 50s and are about 1.5" in width.
I've never seen these before.
So, please add your most "oddball" items.
I'm sure many know I can list a bunch!

That Teddy Postgame condom is a winner!
That's one unopened pack I would not advocate ripping.

Is that in the ted williams master registry set?
Here's a favorite of mine:
I've heard of the pitcher's rubber but never a hitter's.
+1
IMF...awesome pickup..those eyes are the giveaway

This is a wood cutout of a cartoon Frank Robinson. It is about one inch thick. Apparently, Mr Robinson approved because he signed it in black Sharpie.

and griffins, that jimmy hat is very cool!
Interesting premium from Bazooka. Would come in handy if someone gave you any lip about blowing bubbles.
In this "PC" world, a kid would be expelled for having it in school fer sure.
Here's another odd one - a premium from King Blended Whiskey - a neat BB game.
This is a variation to other companies who used the same game as a premium like the Beacon Moving Co.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

here's a few pics:
i also collect golf balls. old singles (brambles, featheries, gutties, haskells) and full-dozen boxes from the 1920's - 1980's.
Sweet collection! I've though about doing some of those, but I'd be too tempted to hit them (especially those Ping Eyes that match one of my favorite iron sets).
Hahah. Love the Kielbasa, Dan.
Ok, so the girl who I purchased that first picture I showed, was also in "Calvin's" 5th grade class. I purchased a few photos and high schoold yearbooks from her back in 1988:

I can't find Ripken. Where is he?
However, I think I do see Mark Cuban.....front row, far right, purple shirt!

And Joe Torre is the teacher! LOL!

It's like a dry erase board with the two Score cards glued to it with the competitors 1987 issues affixed to cardstock to slide on top for comparison. Bonus is I get two 1988 Score Sample Larkin cards, notice the zeros for 1987 stats and the front border on his regular issue is purple instead of green.
The rest of the competition.
Shane
The sad thing is this.....I am not a Barry Larkin collector, but I actually noticed that the sample card was green instead of purple.
Hardcore 88 Score collector?

There's got to be at least one out there.

Currently collecting 1934 Butterfinger, 1969 Nabisco, 1991 Topps Desert Shield (in PSA 9 or 10), and 1990 Donruss Learning Series (in PSA 10).
Bob Smith received a gold "1948 gold presentation tie clasp" from his senior high school basketball team - he's far right in the photo.
He died in 2013 at the age of 82 - played in the MLs for 4 years.
He started out pitching the the Red Sox but was drafted into the Army.
Here's his personal dogs tags:
Of interest, dog tags used to have "serial numbers" - mine was US54951609 - now they use social security numbers.
It's a privilege to have personal items from a ML player's possession.
Great stuff - the "Andy" car is absolutely incredible!

These last three were from a game I got to sit in the press box at Jacobs Field. A buddy of mine who I worked with was formerly a sportscaster and was able to get us press credentials. One of the coolest baseball experiences I ever had. I have a cassette tape with some interviews I did with Dave Burba, Kenny Lofton and a couple others in the locker room after the game.
