1965 SMS Lincoln Cent Toned for LVT

Here is a 1965 SMS, it is part of a set in an old Capitol holder. I did the best I could to get the colors, but they are more pronounced in hand. It is a little harder to get the light like I want through the thick plastic. I imaged this coin so LVT could take a look, it is not a cameo but still nice. Your opinions on the grade and image quality are always welcome. Thank you for looking, John. ( the 2 obverse are different lighting) I would also like to know if you feel the coin is worth grading or should I just leave it in the old capitol holder?

surely this image mutes it's color some as i see some green peeking through



i'd bet we could make a thread asking for toned 1965 sms and wouldn't see too many examples being posted

Superb coin . . . . high quality. No decision in grading on images . . . . . . but it is very nice.



PCGS might grade at a point where it would be financially feasible . . . . . . . .but hard to tell.

Thanks guys and yes it is muted a bit as I said I did not remove the coin from the holder and it is fairly thick. The entire set is nice and toned also. I will be imaging the rest tomorrow and will post them.

Funny you should mention toned 1965 SMS Lincolns.



I've been told somebody is sending me yet another one.



I never thought I would have a slabbed Memorial cent, and now it seems there will be two... of the same date. My cup runneth over!



If the rumor is true, I will name this 'un "Big Red".



Betcha'll never guess who the person sending it to me is.
