Amazing Lowball CBH pickup

1 or 2 of you may remember that I'm slowly putting together a year set of (very) lowball Capped Bust Halves. When I say "very" lowball, I mean that I reject even the nicest "fair 2" coins. The 1824 is the latest pickup - a worn obverse, but with an easily readable date, and the reverse is 100% worn. What's more, the entire coin is very much problem free and original...no dings, dents, scratches, environmental damage, or bends that are so typical of 200 year old coins in this grade.

Interesting coin. Is there ANY discernable detail on the reverse? Maybe it's a lowball and a mint error. That would be nice.
None that I can tell. I have to say that it is a rather odd wear pattern...if it's a mint error, I would be elated.
What stories it could tell
On a more humorous note, perhaps you should submit it before gradeflation turns it into a G-4?
I just recently sold it, rubbed it across the backside of my levis for 3 years
I believe that coin was likely someone's pocket piece for several years.... Cheers, RickO
ill second that one.

O.117.

I know you're good at what you do but how on Earth did you figure out it's an O.117?
By the points of the visible stars at 12, 5 and 8 o'clock and their relationship to the bust. Only one die pair used this obverse.
