1952 Bowman Presidents #1 PSA 8 (highest graded)

I sent a couple 1952 Bowman President cards in with some '54 Bowman Baseball to PSA. I didn't do well with the baseball end of things but I popped this one....

my question for you non-sports guys (which isn't me) - is there an auction house you would recommend for this (if the market is there for an auction house)? I'd put it in my eBay store, but I would not know what to price it.

Looks like PSA 6s of that card have sold for $150 and under $30 on eBay? Pop 7 PSA8s are in the $150 range and the lone PSA9 sale from that set was for $425. Probstein has sold a few from the set in recent months, but I would put it in your store with a $1000 BIN/BO and see if you get any bites.

As you can see from the VCP that only a few at best come to auction every year.



From this I would say $500 to $600 is a solid price for this card.



Is yours dead centered and high end and deserves premium $...think about quality vs grade.



To high a price may scare a prospective buyer.



An AH will cost a buyer 20%.



If it were mine and I did want 2 sell I would try here first at $600 or ebay at $800 OBO.



There are a few collectors of this set here on the boards.
