Hi baseball fans,

Do you have some 1970 Chemtoy baseball superballs in your collection? I am a hobbyist
and hobby writer I am doing some research on these for an article and would like to interview
some collectors about this issue.

If you are available and interested in doing an interview on this Chemtoy issue, please send me a PM.

Thanks to all for helping with several other articles.

  • Hi,

This Chemtoy superball piece will be for Sports Collectors Digest. If you are interested in being interviewed for this article please
send me a PM with your email address. Please contact me before April 26, 2016. Sorry in advance for the tight deadline.

A couple interesting tidbits I have found out about Chemtoy superballs: some were sold through vending machines for a dime each and in 1969 Chemtoy sold football superballs that appear to be only from AFC teams.

    Thanks,

    Doug

I loved this set when I was a kid. They chipped a bunch but were so cool and if you did hit them they went about a block. I've got an empty NL box with a bunch of the balls but am still looking for the AL box if anyone has one.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
