USPS question/problem

I printed a label Sunday night to send cards to another member for a group sub. I dropped it off at my post office Monday afternoon but the tracking still hasn't been updated at all. It just says I created a label Sunday night/Monday morning.

I called them yesterday to see if there was a package sitting around or if there was a problem with it. But they said all packages went out.

Anyone ever have this happen? Is there any chance I get the package back or it gets delivered? There was nothing of huge value in the package. Just some raw late 70s FB stars. They are pretty nice, but I don't have much into them.

They just missed scanning it before it went out. It happens pretty frequently so I wouldn't worry. I would expect to see an update today or tomorrow once it hits the destination PO.

I sent out a package recently and it got lost. Found out a week later they sent it to the wrong state lol.

IT CAN'T BE A TRUE PLAYOFF UNLESS THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONS ARE INCLUDED

USPS here in Southern Ohio is notorious for not scanning at the post office, not scanning at the local sort facility and if I luck into the item being shipped to an area in which they don't scan all the time at their sort facility I may not see a first scan until the day the damn thing is out for delivery.
  • It was a 2 day priority package which is why I called after the 3rd day. Still no updates to the tracking. 9405909699938869489187.

I did insure it for $150, but I'm guessing I'm out of luck on that since USPS never scanned it as accepted.

Better late than never. And unfortunately with the UPSP thats the attitude that you have to adopt or youll go crazy with stress.

My "registered mail" card is on day #14. It usually spends around 3-4 days at each sorting facility. Longer with the closer ones because no one wants to sign for it to move it along. Easier to let it sit and let the next days shift deal with it. Esp true with the insured ones where there has to be a chain of custody and has to be signed for at each individual step.
