As rumored, China Mint has gone metric. 30 grams replaces 1 troy ounce issue. Inscriptions are back (weight, metal content, purity). Denominations are the same as the troy ounce replacements.

I see they put the Ag 999 back on the silvers. Wouldn't touch a 2015 unmarked one w/the 10 foot chopstick.

Every year our local coin clubs order various 1 oz. silver bullion coins from around the world to have as prizes for the year. Canadian Maple Leafs, Australia Koala & Kookaburra, Armenian Noah's Ark, British Britannia, Mexican Libertads... and so on... even Chinese Pandas.

But with them going to a 30g silver coin instead of a 1oz. coin, I know many in our clubs will not like that, especially the older members. Will certainly not order as many of these as we have in prior years, and may not get any at all.
