Basic Topps Registry Sets and Uodate Issues

Is it just me or is anyone else wishing they would add update sets to basic issues player registries. Especially when it is a highly desired card like an 1982 Topps Traded Ripken, 2011 Topps Update Mike Trout or 2088 Topps Update & Highlights Clayton Kershaw. It stinks that these cards are generally only in the master sets with all the goof ball cards I have no desire to acquire. I know I could make my own Showcase set, but not a fan of those. just wondering if I was alone in this.

Agreed. I think the basic topps set should include all cards from the base and traded topps sets and Tiffany, stickers, big, etc should go in the master set. No need for a master topps set. I find that some master topps sets are missing Tiffany and some other oddball topps cards anyway.
