.....when your favorite team is playing against a team managed/coached by your favorite ex-player?For instance you could be a Mets fan, but the Dodgers being managed by Mattingly could be your favorite all time player.

I'm a Royals fan, but I wish they wouldnt' have had to play the Twins the last regular season series. I was hoping the Twins would get a wild card spot, mainly because Paul Molitor is the manager. Molitor was never my favorite player, but I admired him and the way he played the game.
It was still a great first year for Molitor as manager, as nobody expected the Twins to finish second in the division.
