#4 1972 Topps Football Set going on the market

My friend is going to be selling the #4 1972 Topps Football set. It is one heck of a set LU Champions 1972 Set

He reached out to me and asked how to sell it as a whole set. I have never used an auction house or sent to PWCC or Rick. What do you think the best venue is to get to most exposure for this set?

Quick look that is probably a $25,000 set give or take I would think. If I were consigning this I would speak to a number of the big auction houses REA, Heritage, etc and see who would offer the best terms for the seller. I believe Goldin, Legendary, and Huggins and Scott have sold top 10 or top 15 sets of 1972 football over the past 7 years or so. Good luck to the seller, very tough set to complete with an average grade above 9.

I have had great luck with pwcc with my consignments.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
