    Not sure what she's selling?

    Her FB is good.

"Overlay" proofs came out in the 40s I believe.

What she may have? The overlay proof for the 33G reprint set? If so, hardly worth 5K.

The 1933 Goudey Baseball Card Reprint Set was reprinted in 1983 by the Galasso company.

    << <i>Dear stone193,

I was told it's from the reprint set. But I still wonder....
    >>

I told her I believe they didn't have overlay proofs back then - so this makes sense.

So, let's say it's from 1983? Value? No where near the asking price.

If Toppsvault had an overlay proof of someone in high demand, I wouldn't be surprised if it went for 4 to 500 bucks or more (if a Mantle e.g.) - but no where near 5K.

Reminds me of the textbooks in Biology class with the clear page overlays of the human body.

    Good times...
