Advice for Ebay Sellers

I know many of you sell coins on Ebay. Something I noticed yesterday that I really liked from a package I received. The seller has a company name that includes the word "Coins." But in the return address on the label, the word "Coins" was replaced with "_____." I appreciate that as it doesn't identify what's inside the package. Perhaps this is common and everyone already does this, but it provides an added level of security to remove "coins" or any coin-related words from the company name in the return address.

Have received packages before with just the initials and street address over the years.
Some now use a name of a person rather than the company.

My return address is my name. That's what you get. A coin from me, not the business.

Totally agree with initials instead of using "coins" on the address label...fixin' to send out a check today to a company who does not like electronic payments of any type and I am using the initials of the company instead of their store name...it only makes sense. Hopefully the do the same on the delivery of the "package".

You can tell from the postage amount that it has insurance. Might as well go for it.

My insurance company does not allow the mention of anything numismatic related on the outside of the packaging. Anyone who does this is just asking for trouble.

I do not want anythng on my shipping packages to customers to reflect the word coins, paper money, numismatics, etc.

Abbreviations for the business name used instead or initials. I have seen some use "Fullfillment Center." Rather than name of coin business I would recommend using using appreviation or name with first name abbreviated. One I knew his knickname was "Pukey" so instead of name of business it would Say: Pukey, xxxx Smith Street, Good Guy, CA 9xxxxx
