"Compliments of UCB" PCGS Sample/Promo Slab

I have an 1885-O dollar in BU housed in a late 2000's PCGS slab with an insert reading "Compliments of UCB". What's the history behind this promotional slab? Is it worth a premium to slab collectors?

He will? Even though he was banned years ago?
As to the OP.....there is a difference between slab collectors (that you mentioned) and label collectors. Sometimes there is an intersection but in this case, I don't think there would be.
So, for premium? Maybe...but likely not much.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

banning doesn't prohibit reading and reaching out from ATS land and/or email, phone carrier pigeon etc.

Second question, first. Yes, there is a small premium for these types of promotional slabs. They are not really "sample" slabs (examples, usually given away, to promote the TPG) but are collected by those crazy sample slab collectors.
First question, second. I don't know of a particular story with this promo slab, but I do have experience seeking sample/promo slabs when I taught at UT Austin. Every major TPG (except PCGS) provided "samples" to give away to my students. ICG even created a promo slab specific to the course. Depending on the circumstance, a company or organization can ask for samples or promos to be provided for a special event. Cameron Kiefer had some made to promote sampleslabs.com, David Lange had some made for his marriage, and Marty had some weeny coins slabs for some type of weeny-coin-related purpose.
