Opinions Needed on 1970 Topps Bench

Hi All,

I just picked up the card below. I was really excited to get it, as the scans I saw of the card looked great. However, the second I had it in-hand, there appears to be a stain in the upper right hand corner. I provided a scan of the back of the card, which also seems to confirm the stain (upper left on the back of the card).

Not having any grading experience, what would you say this would grade (assuming it is a stain) with and without a qualifier? It's a really nice card, but if that is a stain, I'm contemplating asking the seller if I can return the card.

I think that would have a nice shot at an 8 if it wasn't for that spot but I don't know if PSA will consider that a stain, I am thinking yes.

I agree 8, but with qualifier. Beauty.

Here's the next dumb question - I bought the card in a lot. After allocating the purchase over the cards in the lot, I'm into the card for $40. Given the stain, would I be able to recoup my investment if I ever turned around to sell? I'm thinking it might be a tough sell raw, but easier being graded.

PSA 6s of that card sell for around $70, so if it gets an 8(ST) you should be able to get around that.
