Post some self submissions that you're proud of!

These are all recent submissions that I'm happy with. May not be Gem mint 10's, but they're close. My only regret is I've never pulled a submittable Tony Gwynn Topps rookie card. Every one has been off center. So for Christmas I'm getting a box of 83 topps to try to fix that.
Post some cards that you submitted that you really like, doesn't have to be high grades either.

    That reminds me.

At our last auction, I purchased a 15 card sub - just renewed and still haven't sent the original!

    Need to get moving.

Since centering is always so wonderful on the 83Ts - the Ryno and Boggs are beauties! Congratulations.

I'm assuming you just plain enjoy the hunt from the rip?

Otherwise, wouldn't it just be better at this point to pick one up on ebay?

I think I opened 3 or 4 vending and never got a Gwynn centered.

Nice ryno. Told this story before, a roach ate my ryno rc and turned the edge into an opc cut lol.

Nice results and nice cards. Last year, on my very first submission, I pulled a 10 on an 89 UD Griffey from a factory set I got for $25 including shipping because it wasn't shrink-wrapped. Still had the sticker seal so I took a chance.

    Great looking Griffey, congrats!

Stone, yes I would like the thrill of finding a nicely centered Gwynn topps rookie myself.
I've found plenty of nice Sandberg's and Bogg's, but never a nice Gwynn. Its frustrating.
I'll give it one more shot and if I don't get one I'll buy a nice 9 off ebay.

These are the two I'm proudest of because they remain 1 of 1 to this day....

Matt, when I looked at your post before I was only seeing two little x's, I can see them now. Nice cards!
Getting some nice variety, great looking hockey cards.
Loved buying those wacky packs when I was a kid, I think I would stick them on my school notebooks.image
Paul Maul- Great job on the 1 of 1's.

This was one of my last cards from my collection that I held onto. Bought raw and received a nice grade.

    Wow, that Ripken looks perfect!
I know a lot of people like his 82 topps traded card more, but I like the regular issue card a lot more.

I do enjoy the Regular Topps more as well, but of course will never turn down a traded. image

Back in the late 80's I put a '67 set together card by card by going from show to show almost every weekend. Anyway, about 5 years ago I went thru the set and picked out about 5-10 cards to send in to get graded. Here was the best of them.

I missed a little dent on the back of the Dawson - otherwise a sure 9 IMO.

Thanks for starting this thread. It gave me a reason to pull my set off the wall and get to handle and scan two of my favorites.

I sent these two in with my first PSA Collectors Club submission and would have never known at the time how tough they would be to replicate. Both have been Pop 1's for just under five and a half years.

I wish I would have kept a scan of this one. The last item is a 1966 OPC Koufax, at the time it was a 1 of 3. I was into the card for about $60, sold on ebay for $4150
