Believe my Heritage proxy bid didn't execute today

I've never had a problem with bidding at Heritage; however, I entered a live proxy bid earlier today and the item in question sold to someone else for less than my bid. I'm sure that I saw a confirmation that my bid was accepted and the pending bid showed on my Heritage Live list of tracked lots. It was a split bid; so, perhaps split bids were not allowed on that lot. I don't know how else to explain the problem.

Split bid may be your problem. Whenever I have entered a split bid Heritage has a message saying the bid was rounded up to the next bid increment. I believe I have to click that I accept this. Been awhile so maybe incorrect info.

I won a lot today with a split bid entered as a proxy bid about an hour before the lot went off.

Worked fine for me... But watched it live with my finger on the mouse just to make sure.

Bumping a very old thread here. Bidding in the HA auction this evening and it appears my proxy bid did not execute. In fact, I had 3 1/2 increments selected (max) and the item sold for my internet bid and I lost - see item 4 from screenshot. Any thoughts?

Yes -- the winning bid was placed earlier than yours. Ties go to the earlier bid in proxy bidding.

This. It appears to have executed.

Look a little closer - for row 4, my bid was $175 + 3 1/2 increments, yet the item sold for $175 (+BP).

You can see successful proxy execution for item 5 - I bid $320 and the item sold for $380. I won since I bid $320 + 3 1/2 increments.

Sorry, I was looking at the one above that.
