In practical terms, there are no significant VAMs for that date. VAM 6B perhaps comes closest, but even it is really just a curiosity piece.
    When in doubt, don't.

Probably VAM 6 (high O, near date). Die breaks need to be more dramatic to be listed usually. VAM 6A doesn't have breaks in STATES where yours does, so it's not an EDS of that. Maybe EDS of 6B, but it doesn't mention your die breaks, either, so probably just VAM 6. Check the date to see if it's repunched like VAM 4, though.
  • Hi Dennis , Very bold raised die break between the T & E in states . the T&E are connected by the die cud. No 1897-o reverse photos show this . Maybe a new Vam ? Who does the Vam attribution now ?

Leroy Van Allen still has the final say, but folks like John Roberts at ANACS and John Baumgart (messydesk here on the boards) are massively helpful in pre-screening submissions to him.

To be honest, I wouldn't call what's happening between T and E a die break (which often do qualify as new VAMs), but a late-ish state die crack (which often don't qualify). Die breaks typically originate from the rim.
    When in doubt, don't.
