1972 Pirates Team Card, BVG 9.5

Curious what others think about the appearance of this card. It looks oversized to me, as if there's more total border space than there should be. Hard to believe that a 1972 sheet is being cut up, but that's the feel I get from this card. Also seems odd to have it in a BVG holder if all is kosher. Thoughts? As always, no intention to impugn the seller in any way, just curious what others think.

They have a larger interior to accommodate the sleeve.

There's plenty of people in the hobby that feast on oversize cards for the reason that they can be cut down. I would say the registration is keeping this card from PSA 10 anyways. Nice card, just not $700 nice to me.

I believe that the card is sheet cut. It's too big, even for a factory oversized card. The edges are razor sharp and the corners are too pointed, most likely from a newer cutting method. Just for reference, the card sold in 2010 for $68 and again in 2013 for $179.
