Anybody have any knowledge on this rookie card?

It appears to be a 1982 fleer Ripken rookie card but the back is blank.
I've done some research and I found a lot of info on the test cards but it also says all test cards said it across the name. This one doesn't, I also saw someone mentioned 1982 fleer proof. But really wasn't able to find much info on them.
Does anybody know anything about this card... History on it print run?!?

I have some similar Emmitt Smith and Troy Aikman cards. They look exactly like the product on the front but they were all blank backs. In my case they were 1995 Stadium Club inserts. The lady I bought them from said her husband was a rep for Stadium Club and he handed out the cards to dealers to tout the upcoming product release. I bet the Ripken is the same.

As an aside, Cal told me once that the picture for this card was taken in West Palm Beach....

Occam's razor would suggest it is a blank-back printing error.

Bob-- is there a reliable way to tell the difference between a blank back printing error and a blank back cut from a proof sheet. In the cases like the blank back 77 Jackson et all proofs and the 84 Encased cards it is obvious because the fronts changed on the final cards, but I assume there were blanks back proof sheets with complete fronts for most sets, yes ? No ?. If so, can they be differentiated from a blank back that occurs due to an error in the printing run ?

With it being BGS, Occam's razor may very well have been used on a blank back sheet
