My Gold CAC Half Dime made it into the Pogue II Rarities Auction.

Edit: LINK TO AUCTION ADDED:
It all happened by accident. I was at the ANA show looking for Brian from Stack's-Bowers to simply say "hi". I couldn't find him and the Director of Consignment, what a nice guy by the way, asked if he could help. I was standing right in front of some really nicely toned Pogue coins and jokingly said I have a coin that should be in that auction. I had the coin with me because I was considering a show reconsideration at PCGS. (Decided against that by the way realizing the Gold CAC is far rarer) Anyway, the Stack's-Bowers rep says he would love to have it in the Pogue Rarities Auction. I thought he was kidding. He wasn't and I made an impulse decision to turn it over to him.
First time for me in an auction like this by the way. The images turned out OK for a catalog. The catalog does not capture the luster like mine do.
If you want to see the coin in person, it will be at the Long Beach show. Let me know if you see it and what you thought!

<< <i>Exceeded auction estimates already, beautiful coin Wabbit... >>
Thanks. Those estimates are for a 66+ coin, no color premium. I gripped about it but they talked me into leaving it as is.
One week to go!
I love the Gold CAC, but do you think that it would leap over the MS67's? Possibly 67+?

When I found out it could go into the Pogue auction in New York, I figured it was a once in a lifetime chance. I am not a half dime collector either. Let someone who really loves these own it. Finally, it was an impulse decision, and I have regrets a little but maybe not after the auction. We will see!
2 days to go!
She deserved a place in The Rarities Auction...
