New Member Looking To Trade (Gold, Silver, Early Copper)

Hello everyone, I am new here and looking to expand my online coin trading so as to meet new people and spread the joys of numismatics. Below is a list of the coins I have available for exchange. Offers on buying the coins are open as well, but I am really looking to trade rather than sell at this time. Without further adieu, here is the list:

***PLEASE ASK FOR PHOTOS AS I COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO ADD THEM***

All coins are uncertified/raw, because my nicer, graded examples are stored in the depths of my collection. I will not post my opinion on grades of the coins, I will leave it up to the person requesting them to grade. Only a select few of these coins are nicer, they are the doubles of my collection. Once they had their rightful place in my 7070, but it is time to introduce them to another home.

Half Cents:

1804 Draped Bust Half Cent

1806 Draped Bust Half Cent

1826 Classic Head Half Cent

1835 Classic Head Half Cent

Large Cents:

1796 Liberty Cap Large Cent

1798 Draped Bust Large Cent

1820 Coronet Head Large Cent

Silver:

1875-S Twenty Cent Piece

1812 Capped Bust Half Dollar

1832 Capped Bust Half Dollar

1844 Seated Liberty Half Dollar

1890-CC Morgan Dollar

Gold:

1899 Coronet Head Gold $5

The coins I am looking to trade for are as follows, in order of priority:

1. Colonial Copper

2. Trade Dollars

3. Early Commemorative Silver/Gold

4. Carson City Coinage

5. Foreign Silver Crowns (Not sure if this is the right area to ask for those)

    Welcome.

Could you tell us what type of numismatic material you would most be interested in trading for?

Also pictures go a long way. Since you are new perhaps your screenname and the date written in the picture might garner more responses.

    Good luck!

And some mention of condition of each of the items as well. Professionally certified, raw, etc?

Also, you will need to turn on your private messages (go to your profile) for anyone to contact you.

  • Yes, thank you all for the responses. I attempted to add photos of the coins, but could not figure it out, I still have much to learn. The coins in which I am looking to trade for will be added to the original post at the end. If anyone could teach me how to add photos correctly I would appreciate it very much.

Also, I will turn on my private messaging right now!

    Thanks again.

    Welcome aboard!

Though I'm sure others can provide better advice, we just use a Canon point and shoot with good lighting, upload those photos into a photo file
in our PC, then upload those into our free Photobucket account (Upload pops up as an option when you go to your Photobucket account). Once stored in there, there is a Share Links option when you hover over your photo, then you select the IMG link, then go to your Message Board message, right click, and paste it in there.
Good luck, and looking forward to seeing the 1796 large cent photos!

  • I will do that right now, thank you all for the advice. Also, yet again, I will try to turn on my private messaging. I thought I accomplished that already, but, obviously, have not.
  • Still have not figured out how to add the photos, I apologize to everyone who was repelled by that. I am able to send them via email.

There is a Testing Forum at the bottom of the Navigation pull down.

Copy the IMG image from your photobucket pic and paste it directly into this thread.

Try it on the testing forum first.
