<< <i>wow this BGS 9.5 got up there in price in a hurry, is it because it is quad 9.5? do people pay premium for something like that? 'cause i thought BGS 9.5 sells significantly less than a PSA 10 >>
Yup, higher demand cards especially, will demand a premium based on the sub-grades.

just curious, do people equate PSA 10 with quad BGS 9.5?

Depends on who you ask. BGS guys will say 9.5's are superior to PSA 10's and PSA guys will say 10's are superior to 9.5's. I've crossed many BGS 9.5's to PSA 10's but never tried vice versa.
