Extremely rare Bolivian coin is graded - finally !

I've submitted an extremely rare 1884 PTS FE Proof 50 Centavos (1/2 Boliviano) to PCGS for grading. Perhaps no more than 12 made, and probably closer to a total of 6 known.
Edited to update 10/9: This coin finally received a grade of Proof 63 Cameo. This coin is the only Proof 1884 50 centavos graded by PCGS.
NGC has graded 1 @ PF62, 1 @ PF64Cameo and 1 -KM #Pn44 @ PF66.

The NGC PF66 is part of an intact set of 4 patterns (5 centavos, 10 centavos, 20 centavos, 50 centavos)

Exactly. The only thing rarer than this coin is someone who must absolutely own it for his set.

While I dabble in coins like this, I wouldn't chase it after the price gets up there.

CD very nice and glad to see it appears you are happy with the grade. The imagery is very interesting in that the sun still appears to be an all-seeing eye.
