I've always gone by the notion that Sunday evening, 7pm Pacific Time is best. The logic being most are now home from weekend excursions, it's after dinner time, and most will
be home to snipe. It's 10pm on the East Coast so it's just a little before bed time for most.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

    The buyers payday.
BTW I think there is no good day to run a auction on ebay now as they have tanked.

Sunday Night... Late enough that everyone on both east/west coasts are settled from the weekend, but not so late that some are already sleeping.

With any real buyers using snippers, I am beginning to think it doesn't matter much anymore. I don't buy coins any cheaper on Tuesday than I do on Sunday.

I like between 9 and 10 PM East Coast time, any day but Saturday or Friday. But it is sort of a crapshoot.

Sunday evening used to be the "conventional wisdom" preference, but lately I've been seeing more action on Friday nights.

Friday night is when most people are away from home.
Don't believe me? Check what TV shows air on Friday.

Sunday has generally been regarded as the best night to end an auction. But it is crowded and your listing can get lost amongst the pile.

The best time to end an auction is when 2 or more bidders have a snipe set or are online.

An eBay executive once said the best time to end an auction is between 6 PM - 10 PM in all time zones on any day of the week.
He called it the alcohol affect. Most people are off from work and had a couple of drinks in them by then, so they are looser with the money to buy useless crap on eBay.

During football season, I tend to prefer Tuesdays.

I always felt like Monday is a good day. I frequently forget about auctions ending on the weekend, especially in the evening.

I might be in the minority, but I do not like ending on weekends. I feel like EVERYONE ends then, so I have a lot more competition those nights. I prefer to be the star attraction and have less competition.
